I'm over the battlepass mechanic

Having put in LOTS of hours into Helldivers 2 it’s become very apparent that the classic battlepass sucks. I'm not even considering the content itself (which is lackluster at best). The FOMO trap, hurry up and get this slop before it runs out method of content release is simply not good. To me, the Helldivers warbond system is clearly superior. No rush, only get what you want, not time locked. I'm really getting tired of some devs/publishers trying to squeeze every last cent out of their customers instead of making an amazing game and getting rewarded for it. 

Dice/EA should really think about that. It may not seem like it at first but I would bet real money that they would get more sales off doing a warbond like system instead of the seasonal battlepass crap.
