Infantry exist in BF6 in order to help level up helo pilots. Change my mind.

Helicopters are the recurring theme here. They're broken af…. BY DESIGN. GG DICE. 

How DICE in BF6 can create problems that were solved in previous BF titles is truly puzzling. . It’s seems more than obvious that a lot of the lead devs and producers never played much Battlefield as infantry. 

• Below radar is utterly broken. Especially over water where you have a crystal clear, unimpeded line of sight to the helicopter.
• lack of At least 2 static AA guns in every spawn. AA guns that any infantryman can access. The Phalanx automated defense gun is terrible. These static AA guns that infantry can man need to be placed  in locations where enemy snipers can’t snipe you off the AA gun from half way across the map. DICE Devs that developed BFV implemented defensive AA guns in our spawn areas and they did it well. Any class can hop on an AA gun and help clear the spawn of aircraft that are spawn camping. Not so in BF6. 
  
  
• There are No Static AA guns on the aircraft carrier in Conquest game Modes. So apparently nobody working on BF6 played BFV or they would know that BFV carriers have static AA that infantry players can man in order to keep aircraft spawn campers off of the aircraft carrier. 
  
  
• SOFLAM users gets punished via the bullship “im over here, come Melt my face off” glint that’s seen from enemy pilots from 8 miles away. GG DICE. It’s already a thankless job. Now make it worse for those of us that want to use teamwork and use the SOFLAM. 
  
  
• Lack of static AA guns all over the map 
•  
• .50 cal on top of the light transports do laughable damage versus helicopters. It’s .50 CALIBER. DICE! Make it make sense!!
• Helicopters in BF6 get automatic regeneration on ammo, flares, etc, . In BFV aircraft had to fly to home base to repair and resupply. 
  
  
• Infantry in BFV(that’s BF FIVE guys, not this game) can access ammo at every objective via the supply crates. This was a great concept and was not considered OP by ANYBODY!!  Not so in BF6. Engineers have to chase down supports. Usually we just redeploy and waste a ticket because we’re never ever getting resupplied. Especially in the big maps. Why do helicopters get free regen on ammo but Infantry can’t at least access ammo at objectives? This worked great in BFV with the resupply stations. Why abandon a fan favorite? 
  
  
• Lack of deep trenches and lack of PERMANENT overhead COVER on objectives. Same story from 2042 at launch. DICE designs horrible open objectives where a Littlebird can clear the entire objective via a single gun run. This is NOT PTFO. This is absolute garbage.  Need an example? Look at objective D on Eastwood once the cabana and bushes get ran over. LITERALLY A FLAT GOLF COURSE capture zone. Seriously DICE!?! 
  
  
• Too many helicopters on maps that shouldn’t have a single offensive helicopter. One team on Mirak Valley can have 2 attack helos, 1 little bird, plus 3 Jets. Often one team gains air superiority and the ground guys on the other get farmed from the air for 25 minutes. Thats 5 attack aircraft per team and we only get a single AA tank!! 
  
  
• Contamination should have either 1 attack helo or 1 little bird per team. NOT BOTH!! When this map went live there was only 1 attack helo and no little bird. This was balanced!! And We get no AA tank!! 
  
  
• Manhattan Bridge shoud have ZERO aircraft. FULL STOP. MAKE IT  MAKE SENSE DICE!! This tiny map doesn’t warrant a single aircraft. 
  
  
• More static AA emplacements on Golmud and Wake Island.  1 AA Gun per 2 objectives. BFV did this wonderfully. 
  
  
• “Miss” … “Miss”.  IGLA and Stinger miss half the shots we take on helicopters and jets that are above deck and not evading at all. And FYI, we don’t get to take a lot of shots because most of the time the helicopter goes below radar. When we do get a lock, very often  The rocket Just straight up misses. I’ve fire 10,000+ rockets of IGLA and Stinger in BF4 and have NEVER seen it this bad. 
  
  
• Flare cooldown for aircraft is too fast. 
  
  
• Aircraft respawn is too fast. There is No respite or reward  for infantry taking the effort to shoot down helicopters. Me And my squad mate spend a full five minutes, trying to shoot down one little bird only to have the little bird right back on the map by the time we capture one objective and start moving to the next.  we’re already getting strafed and blown up again by the little bird we just destroyed a couple minutes prior. Extremely demoralizing and frustrating af. 
  
  
  
• Burnout for infantry players is hastened by constantly getting farmed by aircraft on map after map after map. Take a page out of the BFV and BF1 playbooks and offer large maps with maybe 1 or even ZERO attack aircraft. Airborne Transports might be warranted in order to prevent a spawn camp. 
  
  
• As we see in many BF1 and BFV maps, Large outdoor maps don’t have to equate to tons of lethal vehicles and attack aircraft on both teams. Let infantry enjoy the ground game a bit! Like we can on BF1 and BFV. 
  
  
• Modern Warfare(Ukraine)means trench warfare. Deep trenches. Not the 3 feel deep drainage ditches we see in Mirak Valley. Where are the actual trenches on all maps?? Why no trenches in objectives?? Trenches help protect infantry from being constantly farmed by aircraft! BFV and BF1 have actual trenches. Trenches are a thing in modern warfare. Infantry should have to get into the trenches and clean out enemies in order to clear an objects. Instead we have some really poorly designed objectives where a single helicopter can clear an objective if enemy infantry in a single gun run. This is NOT PTFO! 
  
  
• The new gunboat is utterly destroyed by any helicopter that’s below deck because we have no effective close in guns on the boat. I have 100+ hours on the gunboat in BF4. Enemy aircraft are a threat but the boat has a fighting change. In BF6  I’m staring at a helicopter flying straight at my gunboat from across the map. He’s flying  low over the water from way the hell out there and I have a clear line of site directly to my target yet  I can’t lock on the boats anti-aircraft rocket. This is insanely frustrating and demoralizing. DICE!! Make it make sense!! Below radar over water SHOULD NOT BE A THING when we have a perfectly clear line of site to target. 
  
  
• Infantry 7.62 LMG needs to do considerably more damage vs aircraft. Give LMG users more reasons to use the LMG.  The M60 especially! 
  
  
• Consider offering versions of each large Conquest map without any attack aircraft. Golmud, wake Island, and Mirak Valley with 3 or 4 Blackhawk transports per team. 

Get back to BF1 and BF4  ratios, as far as  of number of infantry to number of vehicles/aircraft. Make  infantry the key focus of the game again.  As we see in BF1 and BF4, vehicles and aircraft are sparingly added, as warranted per map , with infantry being the main focus of the Combined Arms experience.
