Invisible force field at the HQ zone line??

Tanks nowhere near where they spawn but still  inside the HQ zone near objectives can shoot out and camp nearby objectives but are immune to all incoming fire.

Seriously?

If a vehicle is close enough to an objective and can effect the ownership of that objective, then that vehicle should NOT be immune to RPG!! This isn’t about  spawn  camping. This is about fair play!

Build  better maps that don’t facilitate spawn camping like your predecessors have done!

This invisible force field crap is admitting that your BF6 map makers can’t compete with the old school DICE who somehow made the game work without invisible force fields.

Quit possibly the worst decision in the history of the franchise and it’s a stealth change that’s  somehow still flying under the radar.

  • What a crazy 'solution'. If you can't shoot into a HQ, someone in HQ shouldn't be able to shoot out.  Everything should be reciprocal. If they can't make it work by treating each side equally, that's a map design issue.

Creating an invincible vehicle situation was not on my bingo card. Who makes this game?

  • It’s unbelievable that people still don’t realize what exactly is happening because  this new “feature” is so bizarre and so….NOT BATTLEFIELD.

I’ve had several squad mates blow themselves up because their RPG blows up 2 feet away in their face when it hits the invisible barrier and they have no idea why they died.

  • No it was absolutely needed, map designs suck and should have never allowed it to be this bad. no one should be able to spawn camp an enemys HQ and players should not be able to sit in their HQ and shoot onto the map because no one is able to get to them. This was needed but should go both ways

I can't say I've noticed this, and I was playing basically all day yesterday. Do you know the CRAM anti-aircraft gun at the HQ automatically shoots down incoming missiles/rockets? That might be what you're seeing, since missiles will explode in mid-air on their way into the HQ, because the CRAM shot them down.

I do agree that there are serious spawn camping and spawn sniping issues due to the small map designs. I doubt they will change the maps, since people complained so loudly about 2042's maps being too big. Maybe an invisible wall is the only solution, but it should definitely work both ways.

  • Dont disagree with the forcefield. Maybe they shoulda made the CIWS more visablr and co sistent cuz it doesnt always appear to be firing (even tho its just visual)

I also dont agree that it should go two ways. Then you could spawn csmp the barrier and jave an easier time trapping people in the hq. (This has been an issue with other games with similar mechancs already)

However the maps shouldnt allow for spawns to engage the rest of the map effectivly. If there wasnt the field it would encourage spawn camping, and with it its a super unfun issue to combat in game. Shift protected zones so cover and hilltops are just outside the zone, not the border of it. Or just move the hqs further behind said hills, buildings, mountains.
