Issue with Motion Sensors/Deploy Beacons

I've had multiple instances of putting a motion sensor or deploy beacon down, the animation finishing, and then the equipment just disappearing completely while using up the item and forcing me to have to wait for the cooldown to reset before using it again. I don't know if this is a universal issue or not, but I'm playing on PS5 if that makes a difference.
