I agree. I want to have the same freedom of choice as console players, whether to turn off mandatory PC + console inclusion or not. I have nothing against this option being available if the player is interested in cross-play. Honestly, the BF6 beta was downright terrifying in terms of console players' auto-aim.
It's important to note that no matter how hard DICE tries to tweak auto-aim, inclusion with console players will never be fair. In the case of Battlefield, CoD, etc., these are highly competitive games and should be set up like sports. Similarly, in sports, it is not possible to fairly achieve competition between incompatible teams. That is why there are separate categories for men, women, youth, or disabled athletes, for example. I may be biased, but cross-play seems to me like forcing men (mouse + keyboard) to compete with women (game controllers) in the weightlifting category. For this purpose, I would have to come up with a nonsensical handicap for men or, conversely, a nonsensical advantage for women to make it possible. There will always be someone who says that the advantage is too small or, conversely, that the handicap is too big.
