I'm on PC and want PC only. You can't disable cross-play on PC this option only exist for consoles
Imagine crying on PC users, when you're playing on console. Yes, beginners are more stable on pc, but at medium level (already) console players > pc players because of aim assist

Because the option is literally not there in the settings. PC players are FORCED to play with console aim assist players. It's ridiculously overpowered in some situations, like a tight group of enemies at distance. PC players MUST be allowed to not play in aim assist lobbies. Plus cronus and cheating on console is more mainstream than on PC, and with the volume of console players there are actually MORE cronus cheaters than PC cheaters.

This is total BS we cannot turn off cross play on PC. I am about to delete this fing game and get a refund. Aim Assist is a crock of **bleep**E you have no chance when an SMG takes you out from 40 m without missing a single round because aim assist is locked on to you. I get one shotted by shotguns all fing day because they just look at you and pull the trigger BOOM DEAD. It did not feel this way in BETA now that the game is live it's so sad......

Dont forget the classic ads aim assist randomly locks at you through smoke, vegetation and sometimes walls..
But this isnt a console and crossplay issue. Its an aim assist with controller issue. PC players using controller are having the same situational broken aim assist. That's also how I know it randomly ignores smoke, vegetation and sometimes walls, since i have tested playing with a controller. Also remember the reduced recoil controller has compared to mouse. The aim assist is very much the same as in 2042 and there some nice youtube videos showcasing how ridiculous the aim assist sometimes works.
But in the bigger picture though its not that bad. Mouse is way better to use than controller for most people, so its not like they have a huge advantage. Its very situational. High damage weapons may give advantage to the controller (remember sks in bf2042) but most other weapons does not.
Personally will never switch to controller even though I know i can just ADS when my cross hair is close to an enemy and it will auto lock to closest hitbox and try to stick on it because overall accuracy and movement with mouse is still way better and overall gives better performance.
In the end disabling cross play doesnt stop pc players to use (and abuse) the aim assist with a controller. So if people want to avoid aim assist player the only way is to create a portal version of your game mode and disable aim assist as a rule.

You said everything I wanted to say here, I agree with you 100%! My friends and I are experiencing the same problems.
For us, in most matches, we see a large number of console players on the opposing team. Often, more than 80% of the enemies are console players. You spend the entire match dying to players with auto-aim assist who can kill you with just a few headshots, while you can't react in time with a mouse and keyboard.

sick of some auto-aim console player prone, beaming me from the middle of the map.

The PC version doesn't have this option

110% couldn't agree more I am so tired of being forced into lobbies with people given free aim bots.
