I hope EA anticheat adds MouseTrap for consoles in order to detect computer vision AI aiming vs human aiming.
I believe this is the future for anticheat.

Really doubt will be the case. It's already confirmed you will be able to use MnK legitimately on PS5. I am more concerned for actual aimbot/wall hacks ect. being used via remote play on PC. For the people who think cheating is not possible on console please watch this https://youtu.be/5bu-8DXvP_w?si=A5StBTjPULKXeDJ2

I hope they figure it out before it drops. I just want some decent matches.
(Granted I am hoping with crossplay off I will find a ton of games.)

It’s really about time consoles also get a serious anti-cheat system, now that they’re catching up with the PC side in terms of cheating problems.
But just as important is giving players the option to separate themselves through truly private servers. Not like in the BF3–BF4 era where IP addresses were exposed, but with modern solutions that allow people to run their own servers on their own terms, and only invite friends they actually know and trust.
It’s time to put an end to the days where one side in a match is nothing more than prey for cheaters. They belong in their own filthy little swamps of servers, where they can cheat against each other all they want. Let the rest of us play in peace.

I could be wrong, but I imagine that any enforcement would be left up to Sony, since it's their service being used.

ElliotLH you're correct. Sony doesn't allow game developers to ban players on console.
Instead of banning players, Ubisoft's MouseTrap increases controller lag of cheaters. With high controller lag they can no longer aim or hit anything! 😂

Haha I like that way of handling it. Kind of reminds me about what some developers would do with cracked games - like with everything blowing up in Red Alert 2.

That's not really true. Sony doesn't forbid game developers from banning players on console. Developers like Activision, Epic Games, and EA have full control over their own games and servers, they can ban you even if you're playing on PS5. Sony owns PSN, but they don’t interfere with bans that happen within individual games. So yes, you absolutely can be banned on console if you use something like a Cronus Zen or break the game’s rules.

Let me just make a quick prediction.
BF6 new anti cheat systems will not work.
That's just my opinion, but keep it in mind when in 6 months you are see strange things happen.
