Javelin Anti-Cheat Breaking Core Windows Functions!

If EA wants the privellege of running a kernal-level anticheat on my system, it had better make sure it's not completely breaking core functionality of windows when it is NOT IN USE!.

Because of the battlefield 6 beta, I have suffered irreprable damage to my expensive OLED panel, due to the windows screensaver failing to trigger following launching the Battlefield 6 beta with Javelin anticheat. This caused a static image to be left on the screen for days creating burn-in.

This occurs on windows 11 24H2, and is reproducable across MULTIPLE different machines. If the BF6 beta has been launched even ONCE, and subsequently closed, with all anticheat dissapearing from task manager, windows will no longer be able to trigger the system screensaver.

This can be reproduced over and over again. Everything works just fine, until there has been a launch of the EA software, at which point this core windows functionality is broken until a reboot takes place.

I am a windows system engineer by career, do not try to tell me this is an issue with my install. This is fundamentally an issue with EA anticheat BREAKING core windows functionality and it can be easily replicated with appropriate testing as described above.

If this monitor-destroying behaviour is not patched, I will make it my mission to turn this into a media hellscape for Battlefield 6. Under no circumstances should your software, WHEN CLOSED, be breaking my system.

  • I call BS.   Nowhere did you post any proof of any of this.

Personally I completely blame Windows 11 '24H2', my system has never been the same since this disastrous update.
