This is not repeatable as I have THREE expensive OLED monitors and I don't have a single issue as you've mentioned.
OLED burn-in typically takes 5,000–20,000 hours (1–5 years of heavy use) with static content at high brightness. Modern OLEDs (2020–2025) resist burn-in better with mitigation like pixel shifting.

You made up these numbers, QD-OLED panels have not even been on the market for long enough to have conducted testing this extensively. It takes days at high brightness for the effects to be very visible on grey backgrounds, I'd know, because it happened.
Regardless, your personal experience with your own panels has no bearing on this issue with EA's code.
