Javelin
What is the point in the javelin? I fail to see how an rpg does the same damage as a guided missile i feel this needs addressing so the weapon becomes useable.

Agree 100%
One of the most effective weapons on the planet against armor and it does practically nothing!
its its not and rpg right now its worthless i used the new rocket launcher and i means i used it for around 300 rounds only 3 hits and its says it can relock nope its doesn't do that
I think the Javelin is a great weapon. I don't think the issue is with the weapon itself, but rather the fact that players in the game only care about k/d and weapon grinding. With a team, it's actually pretty broken. Had a squad of four where we had infinite ammo due to support, non-stop laser designation from a recon, and two engineers with javelins. Fastest conquest game of my life. Had all 5 objectives and the enemy team couldn't move a single vehicle outside their base.
The game doesn't incentivize players to play the way my squad played. What huge benefit do you get in just reviving/re-supply or laser-designating? Not enough rewards for playing objectively, in an objective-based game.
The same can be said with the Stinger or Igla. By itself it is difficult to down aircraft, but in a "good" squad, you can do serious damage.
Even running stinger + jav in a squad works as long as the target is lit already.
But the javelins range and top down impact do differentiate it from the stinger. It is harder to identify the source of the shot and dodge the shot due to its top down impact.
Javelin take a lot longer to get a lock on and should do more damage. Like half of the gadgets and weapons in game that are vastly inferior to the rest, there are just no reason to use them. Thats sad.
The javelin does produce slightly higher damage over the RPG; the sad part is the EA programmers don't seem to get the message regarding the RPG. The RPG is not a bullet and should create a radius of damage and not require a direct hit. Maybe if they EA was more interested in the way weapons actually work, they would want to improve functionality. This thought of improvement would also prevail over the FPS allowed to PC users versus PS5.
