(LEVOLUTION, BELL TOWERS, FLARES) Game Suggestions
Loving the game, wanted to add my thoughts though. Many BF players are huge fans of Levolution. Really hoping to see this brought back. Not sure why it ever would have been removed, it is such a fun aspect of BF4.
The other suggestion I have is that you add more Bell Tower, Church Steeple type buildings into towns. These give sniper vantage points that can be removed with destruction. Think of famous WW2 movies. Its fun and adds another angle for snipers. Make them of brick (its important).
The other suggestion I have is in regards to flares. I am not 100% how the flare system works, but how I understand it now, is that if flares come out, it will deter any incoming missiles. However, this only seems to apply to your own vehicle. For example, if I fly into an ally or enemies flares, I will stick get target locked. From a realistic standpoint this doesn't make sense. From a gameplay standpoint I understand that this could make it really hard to get solid lock ons (especially if you just sit next to one of your allies and take turns spamming flares). However, perhaps if you are able to fly into an enemies flares maybe it would work then? (a possible trade off could be that it still gets you 10% of the time, IDK, I can just imagine you are in a heli with your teammates and everyone is screaming "no more flares, we gonna die" then the pilot last minute does a dive into enemy jet or heli flares and saves the crew) The other thing that might should be looked at getting tweaked, is sometimes you put out flares too late (say, a split second before it hits you), the missile explodes right next to you on one of the flares but doesn't do any damage. There should be a penalty for this, you should take some damage depending on how close it is to your vehicle.
Devs should absolutely make clear how certain damage systems work so people can learn them. Sometimes you get aimguided locked on by a boat, at first everyone thought this was an exploit. Obviously its part of that system. But if there is an info page for each vehicle, for damage systems, and how they all work, I'd like to know.
