Indeed, it made you feel like you played a part in the war. In battlefield 6 I would be hard pressed to tell you the names of the parties involved. You are not part of any identifiable collective in any case, and it doesn't help that the servers aren't persistent either... or that the results of previous conflicts carry over to the next battle or effect it in any way. Basically it's all meaningless gibberish.
