Locking Missiles gone?

I have came on today to realise that the locking missiles seem to have been removed from IFV tanks. Is this the case? and if so are they going to be coming back? The whole point is you have someone to paint the target and then you can use the locking missile to take them out. I really dont see why they would have been removed
