Maps are getting bigger but the number of players is still the same 64?
As maps getting bigger, player number should increase as well. Otherwise you will end up running most of the time.

Golmud played well with 64P in its original format in BF4. Not sure why they felt the need to increase its size, in addition to adding even more vehicles for the BF6 version. Now its just vehicle infantry farming and a sniperfest. Beautiful looking map though.

It was worse in BF4 in every way. Far less cover so vehicles did a lot more farming.
