Yesterday I was in a match where the mean average of player levels on the NATO team was 78, and the Pax team was 194.
Honestly, I'm not sure why each title that the matchmaking fails this badly, but I've had to leave more matches early than complete them, simply due to it being a waste of XP boosts and time.
that only means time played. doesn't = skill level. To get someones skill rating there is a whole lot of stats that should be shown that EA has taken away in the recent releases. They don't show stats for barely anything anymore which is unfortunate. Probably cause they want to cover up how infested online gaming is. But the basic stat is K/D. so if you want to determine how even the teams are. Just look at the K/D ratios on each team. (until they go completely woke carebear and take away the death stat) What I do is count the number of positive ratios on each team. you use the avg ratio of the positive ratios, as the team avg but i simply just count how many people have more kills than deaths on each team and that is usually enough to judge hahaha. The number you are using is completely meaningless though brother. its just for show, thats an accumulated stat, not an accuracy or performance one.
I usually see the same names alot of times. Also names that are similar to other names etc. I'm from the Northeast USA and this game seems to be way more popular than past bf's I played. at least it was a couple weeks ago lol. playerbase just jumped off a cliff though cause most of them were console players or casual pc players, getting destroyed especially now when people off from work. I was loving it, I felt like a God it was a good two weeks. But I'm now back to being the victim in boring stacked matches above my skill level hahaha. But From years of experience I can usually call a match before it starts.... like 19 out of 20 times. Some of these names I've been seeing for at least a decade. I would say half of them cheat half don't but almost everyone stacks teams. Meaning they join with friends. And honestly EA taking away the ability to switch teams made things worse, so even if you want to help out the losing team. Like I always did in bf years ago, we can't. We also have no ability to vote shuffle teams like the old days, or the admin to. etc... Because going all the way back to bc2, the community attacked EA for trying to implement a shuffle. because again they "want to play with their friends"... So this is where we are.
Because even if EA tries to implement a ranked match making system. Or even with a single player qeue system. It will just be undermined with alt accounts and sync drops. And these people face no repercussions for literally destroying a whole industry.
What is going to happen, is they are going to punish quitters like the rogue dev is doing blackscreening people, instead of adding a shuffle to combat quitters, which we learned 20 years ago, is the only way. Because we are talking about random public matches, not competitive teams in a tournament or league, but competitive players who still want a competitive match.
