Medics are getting you killed.

Imagine this, you lose a gunfight in the hallway and your squad mate is pulling you behind cover to revive you when a medic pulls up with his defibs and picks you up in an open area/hallway where you both die.

Now imagine if the medic wasn't able to revive you because your squad mate already had you covered and pulled you to a safe location for the revive.

I would LOVE if the medics in this game could pull you to safety much more often, but they dont. And when you do get pulled to safety it feels so good to be able to get a reload off and recover health. I'm asking EA to remove the ability to defib an ally when someone else already has them in an ongoing revive state. A good portion of the time these medics are just Rambo reviving for the points and not for the betterment of the team.

Well, I usually like when I am revived faster or somebody will take a burden from me when I am reviving teammate "slowly", because it means it will shorten my vulnerability time. Although I agree there are situations where it may be better to get dragged into the cover than be revived instantly, in my experience it's not that often. :)

yeah this kinda falls in the category of players being morons. Like Anaghya said it can be a good thing too. You can compare this to sniping and a teammate setting up a decoy next to you when you didn't want to draw attention to your location. Or using a suppressor and a teammate mag dumping next to you with a double port break leading you to both being spotted. Sometimes the game just sucks because your teammates suck. It is a team game, but you don't get to pick your teammates unfortunately.

As someone who plays support (medic) often it is incredibly frustrating.

Never mind the drag and stab revive interruption, I can be charging for a full paddle revive (when it is safe) and some other guy will swoop in and hit them for a quick 50%.

This is partly because of the badly designed challenges (30 seconds of thought or some actual testing and they'd have seen the revive ones should really specify a 100% revive) but, yes, it's partly because of stupid/selfish players of which there appear to be a majority these days in BF6.

Player 'quality' has never been great in BF, but with this CoD-friendly version it is worse than ever and not only that if you give advice in chat they get childish and toxic because you've damaged their fragile ego or restricted their freedumb entitlement.

We need more smoke grenades. Sometimes there are more than three lying on the ground calling for a medic.
And often they are in the line of fire of a sniper.
Without smoke, I can't save them.
It takes far too long for the smoke to be replenished.

That's why I still have the smoke grenade launcher

side question - I seem to be unable to charge my pannels doing 100% revives. They always do 50% only. How do you charge them (other than pressing/holdinbg the fire button)?

how long? I press it until the ingame machanic seperates the defi pannels and I hear the di-dit sound - and continue pressing the buton until the revive -> 50%.

Oh and the charge lamp on the pannel does not light up for me either. I play on PC by the way.

  • A medic has to be aware of their surroundings.    Drag if needed,  throw smoke if needed or use the defibrillator when needed.   I play medic alot and try to not just rush in to get the revive points.
