Meet the Community Managers of the EA Forums

Hello everyone, with the release of the reveal trailer for Battlefield 6  and now that we’ve all had some time to settle in to the EA Forums I thought now would be a good time to set up a thread where you can meet the EA Forums Community team and hear a little bit about our own Battlefield experience!

I’m Rtas, or EA_Rtas to be more precise, if you’ve been around since the old Battlefield forums you might recognize me as one of the old EA moderators during the Battlefield V era. I know I recognize some usernames when I read through the forums and it’s always good to see the old guard still around.

I first got into Battlefield with Battlefield 1943 back on the Xbox 360 and was immediately hooked. Took me some time to get good and learn to PTFO but I really came into my own with Battlefield 3 as a medic.

Long hours of Operation Metro (If you were ever on the receiving end of my constant revives while under enemy fire then you have my sincere apologies) and Damavand Peak were absolutely formative for me throughout my time with Battlefield 3 and cemented it as probably my favourite in the series.

Though I think that was also influenced by a certain show on Youtube I think we're all familiar with here, Battlefield Friends which I would watch every time a new video would release.

What is my role here?

You’ll see me around the forums not only here in the Battlefield section but also on the Star Wars boards. I read as much of your feedback as I am able and pass it on to the right people as well as helping out wherever and whenever I can with troubleshooting and while I can't be everywhere all the time, that is where my excellent teammates come in. Ideally we try to make sure this is a friendly place for everyone to talk about Battlefield.

What makes a great community is everyone working together as a team, you'll see that from the other community managers that will also post in this thread. We work together to make sure that nothing is missed on these forums, even if you don't get an immediate response we read everything.

But thats enough from me, for now I’ll pass it on to the rest of the folks on our team so you can get to know the folks helping you here on the EA Forums.

See you on the Battlefield

~Rtas

Ahoy platoon mates! Failroader (EA_Failroader) here and I began my Battlefield journey with the OG "Battlefield 1942" running on a Windows XP PC! It was hours of fun 2 decades ago! Since then, I've dabbled with BF 2042 where I mostly pad other players' stats and give away my dog tags on a regular basis.

    What I Do Here

I oversee a group of volunteers here on EA Forums known as Superusers! They are an incredible bunch of mates that interact and assist fellow players here on the forums with answering questions, solving issues, and providing constructive engagement and discussions on different EA game titles, including Battlefield! Want to know more about the EA Forums Superuser program? Check it out here!

    Favorite Battlefield moments

Besides my initial dive into the BF franchise with 1942, I thought BF V was a lot of fun, especially the single-player missions. I felt the storyline was well done, and the gameplay was very challenging. In my early FPS game days, I could hang with PvP, but now I just enjoy scenario-type play or even cooperative mode if it is available!

    About me

I was fortunate to join EA 3 years ago, but spent almost 9 years in the video game industry. My previous studio specialized in military-themed titles, where I worked both in community management and live operations. Here's a screenshot of me hosting an event in San Pedro, California, on board the battleship museum USS Iowa! I also served in the Marine Corps in a previous life! Semper Fidelis!

    Hello everyone!

I'm EA_Hux and you might have seen me on the french Battlefield forums as well as many other titles such as FC and F1 franchises on either the French forums or English.

    How it all began:

My Battlefield journey began with Battlefield 2: Modern Combat on Playstation 2. This title is very special for me as it was my grand discovery of what online Multiplayer was. This game was everything to me back then. It really helped me shape the passion I have today for FPS games and particularly console FPS games. Ever since, I've only ever played on console with a controller.

BF3 and BF4 got released later and I still was playing it on console. (I've made the switch from PS2 to Xbox360 back then)

    Favorite Battlefield Moment:

I've got to pick Battlefield 1 and the game mode Operations. It was truly my favorite experience as you get to play different maps that are all narratively linked to one another. The map design is mind-blowing. St. Quentin Scar, Soissons and Amiens are my top 3 because I'm originally from northern area in France and I could see the similarities with how it looked like back then.

I'm looking forward to see you all on the Battlefield.

    Hello Battlefield Friends!

You know me as EA_Pulsar on the forums, and I'm a proud member of the BF community and a huge Battlefield fan. My journey into hardcore Battlefield gaming started with Battlefield Heroes. That's where I honed the skills I now use in every BF title 😁- well, just kidding! Although I can still hum the theme song from BF Heroes, the first BF game that truly captured my heart was Bad Company 2.
I loved every moment of its multiplayer; each map and game mode was incredibly fun and engaging. I feel nostalgic thinking about playing Rush on Laguna Presa or Conquest on Arica Harbor and Nelson Bay. Whenever I see a screenshot, I can almost hear the sounds of the game.

Choosing the best BF title is tough - I often find myself torn between BF3, BFBC2, and BF4, weighing all the reasons why each is the best. I'm eagerly anticipating the new Battlefield and hoping it brings that same amazing vibe.

For me, the best BF moments are always the thrill of seeing a new game for the first time. Every trailer sparks that electricity and pure joy as we see the game in action with a fresh version of the main music theme. I'm really looking forward to the new release this year. I still remember the excitement from the BF3 or BF1 trailers.

I can't wait to meet you all on the battlefield. I'm already feeling the thrill of rushing through new maps and exploring the new gear and gadgets.

See you on the battlefield, and of course, here on our Forums!

    Hello Battlefield Community!

I’m Leeuw, or EA_Leeuw here on the forums. My Battlefield journey began with Battlefield 4 on the Xbox 360, where I mostly enjoyed the single-player campaign. At that time, I did not really dive into multiplayer.

Everything changed with Battlefield 1. That game was a turning point for me and truly sparked my passion for gaming. I was so inspired that I built my first gaming PC just to play it, which was also my first real experience with PC gaming. My gaming path has taken me from Xbox 360 to Xbox One, then to PC, and now I split my time between PC and PS5, though I mostly play on PC. With a technical background, I enjoy exploring the details of both games and hardware.

    Favourite Battlefield Moments

Battlefield 1 is still my favourite in the series, not just for the gameplay but for the community and memories it created. I have also made content for Battlefield YouTubers and was part of the Battlefield Game Changers program. While BF4 was my first real Battlefield, I went back and played many of the earlier titles to experience the full history of the franchise.

    What I Do Here

On the forums, I mainly manage the EA app, EA Play, and EA Connect products and services, as well as the EA Originals and PvZ franchises. You will also see me in the English and sometimes Dutch Star Wars and Battlefield forums, but you can expect to find me more often here in the English Battlefield section, just like in the good old days.

I am looking forward to connecting with you all again, hearing your stories, and seeing you on the Battlefield!

    ~Leeuw
