Subject: Memory Leak Issue After Latest Battlefield Update
Message:
After the latest update, I am experiencing massive memory leaks in Battlefield on my laptop (16 GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce RTX, AMD Ryzen 9 7000 series). The game freezes and eventually crashes, even before gameplay starts.
Steps I have already tried to fix the issue:
- Closed all unnecessary background programs (Teams, Discord, browsers, CCleaner, etc.)
- Disabled all overlays (Steam Overlay, Discord Overlay, NVIDIA Overlay)
- Verified integrity of Battlefield game files via Steam
- Reinstalled/ran EAAntiCheat installer in the Battlefield folder
- Enabled Windows Game Mode and paused Windows Defender scanning
- Restarted PC multiple times
- Checked Task Manager: high RAM usage persists (~14+ GB)
- Ensured EA Background Service is running and set to Automatic
Despite all these steps, the game still crashes due to memory leaks.
I would like this issue to be investigated and resolved as soon as possible, as it is currently unplayable.
Anyone having the same issues?
