Missing features

Since BF6 is a new game, I can understand it's current raw state with a lot of missing or not working features. And I hope it will have a decent support at least through it's first years after release, and won't be limited by just new seasonal content updates.

This is simply a wishlist of features that would be great to see in this game.

  • Server browser - I think it doesn't need much description here, everyone already said it before all around the battlefield related net corners.
  • Mixed servers - just like it was in BF4 where server hosts could create mixed modes on a single server and players would join a new experience every new match (Conquest > Rush > Gunplay > etc.).
  • Portal server settings - it's obvious that current portal experience settings on portal.battlefield.com are very limited and don't even have appropriate namings, and I hope it will get fixed and new settings will be added very soon.
  • Player customization presets - BF6 like other Battlefield games most likely will have an extensive cosmetics library for classes, weapons and vehicles. This means that just like in previous games players will have to select all these cosmetics manunally every time they join a new map if it's setting/biome is different from the previous one (desert map > snow map > forest map > etc.). It's a very annoying and frustrating experience especially for those who care about it.
I suggest to add a simple solution like players cosmetics presets which will store players preferences just like ingame settings and will automatically load these presets everytime players join the specific map. If a player chooses a different cosmetic on that map, it would override the previous selection and save the new one.
I’m not sure about the best way to implement this, but it could be a simple text list of IDs that the game can load and read:
    - Map ID
      - Faction ID (Nato/Pax)
        - Class ID (Support/Recon/...)
          - Soldier ID
             - Camo ID 1
          - Weapon ID
             - Camo ID 1
          - Vehicle ID
             - Camo ID 1
    etc.
Over time players would be able to create presets for all classes, weapons and vehicles with preferred cosmetics for all maps.
