The L110 literally is the M249. They are both the FN Minimi. The M249 is the customized version of the Minimi used by the US military, it has a heat shield over the barrel and a different butt stock. L110 is the designation for the Minimi for the English army. The o my difference between the two is essentially cosmetic.
whopperjunior4 yeah, that's fair. if the L110 is considered close enought to the M249, then I'd still love to see the MK46 added instead.
the MK 46 has its own configuration and would be a nice addition to the LMG lineup without feeling like an exact duplicate of the L110. it would be also give players another Minimi based option with a different look and setup
