The "problem" is the sum of all issues currently in BF6. I mean, I have no problems to compete with Aim Assist Console "Pros" because yes, MnKs players theoretically have the advantage of a precise aiming vs. a guys trying to hit you with a joystick. BUT the game is so broken that your MnK, especially the Mouse input is so delayed --> Meaning the fact that you actually targeting your enemy physically totally correctly with your Mouse but the game is not picking up your pace. I have recorded the this with an Action Cam on 240Hz picture framerate and you can see the HUGE input lag and on top the failure of the game to translate your mouse movement into the game. It simply skips inputs and continues the movement in the game at a different point. This means if you are going quickly up and right, the game is sometimes only going right because the up movement was simply dropped.
So two things to improve:
- MnK inputs need to be processed by the game 1:1 without delays and input losses.
- MnK or "No Aim Assist" Corner in the game for real competitive gaming.
Again, I'm not a Gamepad hater. Many players, huge player base BUT we (MnK and Competitive) Players want to have a great looking and great sounding game for their fights! That's it and it would be totally simple to implement. And yes, in turn, let the Console Gamers / Aim Assist Lovers have their own environment as well. Let them fight during eating, drinking, driving whatever.
EA come on, two simple things... let's go!
