Money over Quality - The continued decline of BF6
Skins over bug fixes.
Sponsored biking minigames over battlefield content.
AI generated stickers over proper weapon balancing.
Removing the effectiveness of gadgets, over adding useful ones.
Poor Netcode and hitreg over actually attempting to fix it, with clear communication the fans about it.
It's all well and good making money, however we get more store updates than we do communication with "battlefield studios". Laying off development staff is a clear sign that a skeleton crew is being put in to maintain this mess till it inevitably falls into obscurity, like the even bigger mess that was 2042.
The roadmap is also a mess of small, temporary content, and the current maps are too small to enjoy for hours on end in repetition, especially considering matches last for about 10 mins a time, due to the severe unbalancing. I'm now seeing bots in every single conquest game for the UK, around the clock. Not in every match, but there's definitely a huge increase. I didn't buy this game to play with bots.
I stupidly bought the skins, and battlefield pro for season 1 and 2, but I've now uninstalled this mess, as I've no faith going forward that problems are actually being fixed, and that we are getting content worth our time, that isn't a temporary mode, that limits which classes we can actually use.
Remember jets? Yeah, me neither. Vehicles seem barely present on BF6, other than tanks, and even they are unbalanced, or constantly get stuck on the tiny map assets.
All my friends no longer play, and left much earlier. Sadly it's far too late for any sort of refund, however.
I would hope EA learns from this mess, but they barely learned from 2042, so I've got my doubts.
