Also, I think it was up until BF3 where the player didn't spawn in vehicles, unless your squad member was in one. Instead put the bulk of them at the main base with a couple that spawn at capture points. The rush of running on foot to the vehicles, taking jets off from landing strips, and the possibility that the enemy can sneak into your main base and steal your vehicles, layers of fun. High risk nice reward.
