Need help with a Battlefield 6 Refund due to EA App on Launch Day
Hello,
I pre-ordered the game on the EA app, but couldn't play it on October 10th due to EA App issues, so put in a refund request and re-purchased through Steam. Two weeks later and my refund still has not gone through, although it was approved. Was told yesterday and again today that my Chase credit card declines the refund and the only thing they can do is offer me another game of equivalent value. I didn't even use a Chase card for this, and used a Bank of America Mastercard.
I have spoken to numerous EA agents and they all say they can't refund me because its a Chase issue. I called my credit card company (Bank of America) today and they see no record of any request for a refund. Attaching two recent chats about this with EA agents, neither of which could help me. The last one suggested I reach out on here for more help.
I'm playing and enjoying the game with zero issues on the Steam App, but need a refund for my pre-order on the EA App that never worked for me.
