New season is just big sad

My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined. Also I have the big sad :(

The new map is fun so far but it’s just one map. ONE MAP!

I actually do enjoy the gas on the new map. It’s reminiscent of the Livens projector and gas being deployed on a couple different maps in Battlefield 1.

As far as Season 2,  the theme from the Season 2 trailer and the area of operation in Bavaria, a mini campaign with 3 different maps ala BF1 Grand Campaign is something I would expect to see with BF6’s huge budget and 4 different studios! This should have been being worked on pre launch and being finished up and polished  and tested when Season 1 went live!!

Let’s not forget that this time post launch, BF4 had 18 maps out. EIGHTEEN! And we have 11 maps in BF6 at the same timeframe post launch . Granted BF4’s  launch was painful and it took some time to get the game the game in an acceptable state. That said, if DICE back in 2012 and 2013  could have planned out and turned out 18 maps five months post launch, with a smaller Dev team and with less money, we know it can be done and should be done in 2026.

    How is this franchise REGRESSING??

Dear DICE. Live up to what your predecessors delivered and …. Strive to outdo them!

    • Server Browser for all core game modes.
    •  Persistent Servers with set map rotations
    • 4 or 5 maps per season
    • amphibious assault Maps Ala Paracel Storm(BF4) Iwo Jima Redux(2042)

It truly sad and baffling to see DICE in 2026 barely churning out the barest of minimum content, half of which adds no longevity or replayability to the game.
