New skins break immersion

Please give us the option to toggle off player skins. Many of them are silly and are not rooted in a realistic military aesthetic. Also can I choose the gender of my character? Why do the soldiers have backstories and are individuals? This feature doesn’t make sense. There’s multiple of one person kicking about?

I dream of a setting option called “Turn off all skins” in games like this. Clown costumes have already ruined Rainbow Six Siege for me

The problem is most of the skins in the game from launch are good skins, maybe a turn off season pass skins option?
