I don't think it has to do with ping. I am starting to think the people that do not seem to have the hit reg issues have a very high upload speed on their internet connection. I have 900 bit download but only 30 upload. This is only a guess but I have not seen any other real explanation for it.

  • First watch i see shooting while strafing with rng / bloom and a claymore which is not blowing up while standing in front of it ...

Second watch on very low speed i see first bullet missing, second and third hitting, at shooting the forth shot on your screen you seem already dead.

Exactly why servers need a ping cap of say 80  All the more reason to rent our own servers. Kick who you want.

  • ping doesn't seem to be the issue most of the time. most games everyone is between 15 and 100. not great, but not a glaring issue either. the issue is the netcode itself, and or the servers and how they're routing data.  I am typically insta killed by console players every time, and some pc players also. there is an obvious desync between console and pc.  its another colossal DICE screw up. and what's worse is the beta was so much better than the game.  kinda feel like a bait and switch move.

It's not getting better. They have your money and are making BattleTrash 7

  • It's not getting better.  I play with the tracker open and used to see a ~10% loss of hits from client to server.  Now it's ~20% since the Tuesday update.

They said they were working on it, and made it sound like it would come with S2 and even delayed S2 for that, among other reasons.  Now though, it's changed to "we're for sure working on it, we promise" and we have no idea when it's happening.

If they just changed the fact the server will delete your damage once you are dead on the server side, and just let people trade it wouldn't appear to be as large of a problem.  Instead we see in almost every engagement a loss of hits that happened on your screen but the server just said "suck it nerd" and deletes your damage before you're even die.  It makes it feel completely unfair for only one party, instead of both parties getting hit unfairly.
