We had night time Conquest on the Zavod map 13 years ago in BF4.
All of the crap game modes and crap maps required for the Night event means I won’t be playing, Just like the Christmas event with yet another small COD boi map.

PLEASE STOP shoving COD boi maps and COD boi game modes down our throats, Conquest, Rush and Breakthrough on big maps are what makes Battlefield, Battlefield.
I got three matches in on the "oh em gee so dark" mode and they all sucked. It was almost exactly like regular play except with annoying "the brights are too bright!" mechanics. Flashlights only reach out 5m, which makes them completely worthless. You have to pretty much always use the NVGs or just sit in the bright areas, except the game modes suck for just holding down the point so you can't really do that...
I do agree, the CoD filth modes need to go. I don't want to play them. They aren't Battlefield.
More maps? I made some night mode conquest experiences with the limited options available at the current time.

The "moonlight" one I think is best, but it seems that people like the fake NVG one better, or at least it has happened to get more traffic. The NVG one is kind of ugly and blurry in my opinion, but it is what it is. You can only do so much with what you have available to you. That being said, I wish more people would try out the moonlight version and see how they fancy it. It has had almost no views.
If they release the proper NVG screen effect or release night mode lighting as a decal like they did for winter landscape, I will definitely be upgrading to that.
