Novice mistakes by "Triple A" studio

How can Dice design a map so poorly that a helicopter can just circle around and destroy the enemy helicopter as it spawns? The ground AA bot doesn't do anything unless you linger basically in front of it.

This might be something overlooked by a indie developer with a small team, not a triple A studio. Kinda pathetic that made it into the game to begin with. You know what's even more pathetic though? Not fixing for several months after release. It shouldn't even be that hard for someone with just a smidge or creativity.

If anyone ever needed proof you guys don't play your own game, there it is. Nothing could be more blatant that no one at the studio plays their own game, or cares for that matter.

The only passion is building hype to sell copies, that's where the actual passion for these companies lie.

In many maps enemy helicopter can just get close to the base and obliterate all vehicles on spawn with the AA just staying idle lol

Hype was real... but as always, rookie mistakes kick in.

How can you release Battle Royale without Solos, Trios, and no proximity voice chat? Instead, adding vehicular flavour, because it is a battlefield... but nobody asks how the vehicular gameplay scales in everyone-on-everyone gameplay scenarios, and on a massive scale?

Heavy vehicles are nerfed to the point of absurdity in Battle Royale. If someone takes his impression of vehicular gameplay from Battleroyale... then it is a bad one. If heavy vehicles do not play and scale the same as in Conquest, Breakthrough, Escalation... then why bother putting them into BR? Do not make me wrong, I am for strong vehicles. 4 man against 1 tank on the Battlefield... and then possibly getting shot by other random teams... sorry, but this scales and plays badly. Minigun in Blackhawk >>> only player seats as a quick fix. No need to keep the main miniguns overheated at all times. Tanks >>> Make them a random drop on the map listed for everyone with a delayed announcement. So teams could decide if they want to bleed out to get one, instead of grinding for cards and being chased by two IFVs down the hill.

Players would expect Infantry vs Vehicular maps. Now, there is simply no good aerial map. Let's say Mirak is not entirely bad. Either jets go outside the combat zone quickly, nosedive from the airstrips directly into the center of the map, in an attempt to get off the ground. Air vehicles are rapidly being locked on at 50m or even 5m after a takeoff, because the airstrip is too close to the actual combat zone, or there is zero natural cover.

Infantry puts one foot, then finds outside the zone, then a 5-second timer with... like I am playing a game from the early 2000s era. Ohh... no visible walls... sky is the limit with an extremely low height cap on Eastwood. I mean, where is quality control and serious internal testing? Just leaving this game for testing to randoms with KD 1.0 and those who have never played any BF in their lifetime?

I know the movement speed is lower... but there was no need to shrink Firestorm that much. Just placing some extra trucks, motorcycles, quads, and transport vehicles would be more than enough. Do not be afraid of vehicular gameplay!

Please, do remakes of Caspian Border, Wake Island, Gulf of Oman instead of butchering new maps. If you shrink them... please... let it be 5% for infantry, but do not cut by 1/4 or 1/3 for aerial gameplay. The game is too infantry-focused now... tanks and ifvs I would still count as infantry-focused. I would not have anything against rebaking old maps that turn out to be a much better design concept.

I mean, 14 years old without PHD, just testing this game with his mates would point out that some of the game design decisions are simply flawed.

    Let`s face it.

Not sure where they get their feedback from, but it's not good quality. I suspect they talk to streamers/content creators that play nice with them. Which they have some of the worst takes imaginable. They hype every other game or update, just to drop it a week later, if that. They're basically shareholders at this point. Hype the game so they can get paid, nothing more.

Enders seems to keep it real, but since he doesn't play nice, they don't seem to listen to someone like him. I'm sure there's plenty of other examples. Dice is pretty sensitive and don't seem to take criticism too well. Just look at how many times they jump on the forums to see what's going on. They're so fragile.
