So, Battlefield 6 is set to drop on October 10, 2025 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. EA announced that date during the multiplayer reveal, and it’s all over their official pages and gaming news, so it looks pretty locked in for now.
From what you’re saying about the beta—bugs like weird lighting, hit detection issues, messy settings menus, performance drops—it sounds like you’re not alone. A bunch of players are sharing the same worries, saying October feels a bit too soon if the game’s still in this shape. People are bringing up Battlefield 2042’s rocky launch as a “please don’t repeat this” warning.
Right now though, EA/DICE haven’t said anything about delaying. The beta this month is meant to gather feedback, but release is still just under two months away, so they’re on a tight schedule if they want to address everything.
Bottom line: October 10 is still the plan. The community’s torn—everyone’s hyped because it feels like a real Battlefield again, but also nervous that they’re rushing it out before it’s fully polished.
Let's say the game is as big as their ambitions.
"With great power comes great responsibility."
