Open Weapons? No thanks

The developers have decided to prioritize open weapon playlists. A horrible decision that disrespects old time Battlefield fans.

they justified this decision by rigging the beta and “analyzing” skewed stats.

It's the Call of Dutification of BF, we knew this day would come.  Must please the COD kiddies.  🙄

  • I thought we were getting both playlist or did I read that wrong?

  • And whatever they gain from having open weapons they will lose as soon as a decent CoD is released.
Stop trying to change the formula that led to the success of BF prior to 2042.

Playlists come and go. It's not about the playlists. It's about what is considered the default. It's not like they will commit to providing open and closed variants for every playlist. So you end up with restricted options for the closed playlist and that'll probably mean that players will play it less, until it's phased out.
