The OP is trying to make the Recon class even worse and would make it mostly played by just sniping campers and noobs.
I noticed that you want Recon to spot but you did not remove the glint to allow them to spot with their gun optics like IRL without blazing like a mighty beacon of light.
I find nothing hybrid about your solution, it just makes the Assault even more lucrative than it already was while nerfing the other ones.
With all due respect I am absolutely not a fan of your proposal.
After how many people wanted to always play with an assault rifle in BF3 and 4, I do not trust the closed class system with these players. If they are going to avoid being engineers or supports unless they can use their M16A3, we might as well let them use their favorite guns on any class.

The over saturation of the Assault Class in BF3/BF4 was due to more reasons than people just wanting to play with an assault rifle. I suspect this was the combination of both having an assault rifle and also access to the best health sustain in the game. In BF1 and BFV, when assault rifles were separated from healing, this was not a problem. This is also the reason why, in my suggested solution, assault rifles will continue to be separated from healing items.

I'm not trying to make the Recon class worse; giving Recon class sole access to red dot spotting is actually a substantial buff. This would ensure they have a place on every squad. Sniper glint is another issue completely, but I've heard that has already been addressed by the devs in the newest build.

In BFV we had a meme here in the forums about how the Assault class was The Action Man with their assault riffle, AT grenade, Dynamites and rocket launchers. Too much firepower concentrated in one class. It is not about the healing, it is about the firepower and any perks that give an advantage in a firefight (Mackay's nimble for example or the BF6 assault perks +weapons sling)

It is not a buff, it is a nerf to everyone else as well as something that people will just do not do because most care only about kills and not assisting the team (which is why health attrition in BFV was a huge fail). The best example of something that almost never happens during a round of modern warfare BF game because only Recons can do it, is Target Designation.
I do not have footage of the new glint. But I doubt they did enough for it, they never do. I have made another thread about how simplistic and detrimental it is the way they implemented it in BF games.

While you're not wrong, to say it's not about healing is a bit odd. Healing is one of the strongest possible perks you could have. It gives you a direct advantage in pretty much any firefight that lasts longer than the initial engagement.
Battlefield 2042 is such a terrible comparison, because it got rid of so many of the fundamentals of the Battlefield franchise. It put a huge emphasis on specialists and their respective perks/gadgets, combined with an open weapons system.
The class balance is probably the weakest aspect of Battlefield 6 and I wouldn't be surprised if the community is going to ask for/demand changes. Though we do have to remember that the weapon sling comes with the downside of having to spread your ammo over two different weapons. For people that are looking for sustainability, it's not going to be a very good option.
