Is there anyway to group up with more than just 4 of my friends at a time? We all want to play in the same match. Thanks!

100% agree!!!
But in reality 1 out of 3 times my 4 man buddy squad doesn't load into the same match properly.
This would be excellent; but barring joining on individuals (first squad joins, then people break up party and the rest of the group tries to join on the squad that is already in the match) I don't think this is possible.
Granted, actual Persistent Servers would make this much easier, as once in the same room (and reorganized into squads again), you could just stay in that server; but using match making, you'll have to do the manual join every single **bleep** time.
This is much easier to do if you join a community server, which is actually persistent, searchable, joinable regardless of party status, and will keep you in the same server round after round regardless of the party being formed or breaking apart.
If you don't like the matchmaking problems, don't use matchmaking.
This is so important!
Isn’t BF supposed to be a clan based game? Or now is it just a content creator hell?
Give us the opportunity to join matches as a clan! But I guess this isn’t compatible with the EOMM system EA had secretly introduced in the game and after every match it does repeat the matchmaking process. This is so stupid. Old BF title didn’t need such a feature. People don’t need such a feature. Matchmaking should only be used to fill servers, not to “balance” them. People will naturally leave the server and find a new one if necessary.
You can join matches as a clan. Community server. If you don't like matchmaking, don't use matchmaking.
This isn’t an argument at all. We all know the current state of Portal, and I'm not even mentioning the fact that most community servers don’t have full XP progression. The developers should give us this option by default, instead of forcing players to look for workarounds just to escape a poorly designed matchmaking system.
I don't think it will happen. I think matchmaking has too many competing priorities to 'fix' it. Everyone's opinion of what needs to be fixed is different. They act like they all agree on what needs to be fixed, but then when you get into the details of how they play, you would see competing priorities. For example, I guarantee that there would be an uproar if people start having 12 people who are in the same group/clan joining their game and getting that advantage. It would get shut down.
What everyone who hates matchmaking says they want, one way or another, is in the community servers and server browser already. The people who would get in an uproar about it, have matchmaking to make them happy.
Verified mode servers have full XP and are essentially the matchmaking alternative.
DICE and EA dont read foruns.
They dont read this:
we want persistent servers in Portal, but OFFICIAL ones.
Not the fake ones of XP farm and **bleep** that we see there.
We community want official servers.
Im tired of leaving a server and entering another one, so we 14 clan players can... play all in same server and have laughts!!!
Can any mod here reply when is this going to bem implemented?
Portal does have persistent servers. And verified mode servers have full XP and are essentially the same as an official server. Sometimes you'll see people do weird things with the health or team balance (like LSFY servers, whatever that is) and keep the verified-mode status, but usuallynthey are just plain-jane same as any other official server. It's easy to tell within 5 minutes.
If it is impossible to find the game mode and maps in your area with a decent ping, make it yourself. It takes literally 5 minutes for anyone to make a verified-mode server. And with all the people who say they want this sort of game and experience, it shouldn't be hard to find like-minded people to get your server populated.
Here, in Central America of all places, on a Thursday morning of all times, I see 11 very populated verified-mode servers of rush, conquest, or breakthrough with full XP and a ping under 200. It can't be that hard wherever you live to find and play what you want at a more reasonable time and day.
It would be nice if there was a way to favorite servers, but with a 4 or 5 digit 'experience code' that you can write for yourself anywhere, it's not hard to get back into the same server you enjoyed.
You need to start messaging, not complaining.
