Totally agree, but maybe with a little more differentiation. Currently, I do think that auto aim is strong, yes, but not completely broken. I'd say, a good KBM gamer will still win >70% of the gunfights against console players (and there are good pretty skilled console players as well). So its not like Dice gave them a spinbotting rage hack. BUT:
In my opinion the other 30% of the fights are still a serious problem because being killed by a an aim assist player is actually distinguishable from being killed by a KBM player (at least in many many cases). So, in the end, its not only coming down to GIVING a player group A (basically) cheats to be able to compete with player group B. For the players of group B it also FEELS like being cheated on.
Especially, if Youtube etc. are currently flooded with videos like "[Broken] Fix your Aim with these settings" and so on.
But, summarized: if you need to give one player group cheats to compete to another, then just dont let them play against each other. It's pointless unless you want to play with your friends --> just make it optional :)

Ultimately, I strongly dislike being forced to play with players using a different ruleset. It's impossible to 'balance' that.
Input method-based matchmaking is the way forwards - you can play BF6 with MKB on the consoles too.

100% right
Ain't no other way.. forcing us to play in full aim assist lobbies is Gona make many of us to find another game

I think the issue lies with the fact that it takes much longer to become good with kbm. Anyone can jump on day 1 of controller and be better than most day 1 kbm players due to all the assists. Casual lobbies are filled with people who are better than they should be because they devs don't want the game to be too difficult and turn away players. Not just bf6. All shooters currently running aim assist won't do away with it out of fear of losing players.

I agree with everything you said except the percentages you gave. I'm currently losing out to a controller player about 75% of the time. I can hang with a MNK player but can't seem to be able to do so with a controller player.
I'm really not sure what the issue is with the devs....do they all play controller and want an unfair advantage? Not sure but they better figure it out because a lot of people that I personally know do NOT want to play this game. I would love to play this game more than I currently do but it is extremely frustrating when I feel that I'm at an unfair disadvantage.

Most of those videos are geared towards pc players, especially the ones using controller.

It's not the auto aim settings. It's the Cronos Zens and a couple of other boxes that you can buy at Walmart, gamestop and best buy. Thousands are now using them and EA is doing nothing to stop it. They aren't even notifying people that auto aim boxes are cheating.

c48b879dcd542c96 they aren't auto-aim. Theyr'e for MnK on consoles so they get better aim assist, along with customizing how the mouse works, and macros. The box can't "see" what's happening on the screen. However, there are absolutely normal software cheats going on.
Don't trust what icon you see by a player's name. Just because it's a PC, controller, XBox, whatever...that doesn't mean much anymore with devices like the Cronus available.- c48b879dcd542c962 months agoNew Scout
Actually some of the boxes do use auto Aim. The Titan is gaining popularity quickly and does just that.
The game is becoming unplayable, unless you want to cower in a corner. Watch the scoreboard. There are constantly 5+ K/D people in the servers, sometimes several of them. If you've been playing for a while, you know when a shot isn't legit.
