I feel like I should add a bit of perspective to this as a controller player on PC. The aim assist is strong, yes, but it’s also complete garbage compared to previous games. It will prevent you from getting on target as often as it helps. It’s like two magnets where it’s completely random if they attract or repel eachother. Granted I run low enough aim assist that it doesn’t ruin much for me, but it doesn’t help much either. I run very low aim assist (40% on slowdown, 0% on zoom snap) but playing at 100% aim assist on console against PC players, which I think most people do as it’s the default settings, is very difficult for console players. You play on a console with horrible aim assist at 60 fps against people with 120+ fps, or sometimes even over 200 fps for high end machines, with a very precise input device like mouse and keyboard. Keyboard makes advanced movement possible that isn’t possible on a controller, the mouse gives you the possibility of precision far greater, and the high framerates on PC makes the input a lot more responsive than console. The skill ceiling is also a lot higher with mouse and keyboard. The top 1% of controller players have close to zero chance against the 1% of MNK players. Yeah, PC players should be able to disable crossplay too but saying aim assist on console gives you an advantage is completely ridiculous.
Then why do you play with a controller...if it's such crap? You're actually full of crap....otherwise, you'd use MNK.
