Pitch disabled when free look is enabled. (Aircraft)

I read that there was a known bug in the beta about this. But I have been practicing jets and helos a good bit and I am still experiencing this.   Situational awareness is paramount in air to air and dog fights.  I tried resetting my settings to default as suggested but I am still having the pitch lock out when I enable free look.  Is anyone else experiencing this?
