Play it your way? I don't think so
Short and simple: I am one of those players who enjoys casual matches against ai. I dont care for matches against humans, i dont care for competition, i dont care for stats. I want to play a modern military shooter with one or two friends casually with ai.
In 2042, I only played the solo/coop mode from the main menu, and I had a great time. Unluck stuff, gain (reduced) xp, and use real money to buy me some nice vehicle skins. Now, I would like to do this kind of thing in BF6, but I cant.
The game was advertised and still is with "Play it your way". My way would be to start the solo/coop mode from the main menu, but the game wont let me. It was advertised to "play against bots and gain full xp (in portal)", but that is gone now. PLEASE let me "play the game my way".
I want a solo/coop mode like the one 2042 used to have. If with reduced xp, thats fine with me. Whatever I do in this mode, it doesnt affect the ones who prefer "real" multiplayer with humans. I'm happy for you enjoying the game there, but I want to enjoy it too. You level up your guns against real people, I level up against bots. Whats the harm? Whats to happen IF we would ever met in a real multiplayer lobby? Nothing. Why care about who gained which xp or gun through which means? It doesnt matter, and honestly, its far from cheating, as some guy on X wanted to make me think it is.
We should all be able to enjoy an acutally great Battlefield game in our own way using the games features and tools. One tool, the solo/coop mode from the previous game, did not make it to this game, and I dont understand why. 2042 worked in multiplayer while combining bots AND humans (at least after some patches), why shouldnt this game work?
I really want a solo/coop mode to be added, rather sooner than later, and I have yet to see at least one good argument why the mode should not be in the game. Please DICE, please devs: Let me play the game my way. As it was and still is advertised.
