Player count and bots

Question

Is it me, or has the game gone to crap?? Don't get me wrong, love BF, but every match seems to be nothing but bot lobbies and people that never play as a squad, or play the objective....

I sure hope the update on the 17th fixes all the random network/server disconnects, that is really frustrating, especially when you make it all game and it disconnects right before a good round is counted.

I've read that the Devs are listening to the player base, but WTF! How long do they have to listen to fix broken hit reg and netcode???? This has plagued BF since BF2. Granted, some BF games are better at this than others, but the cost of BF6 and all the years of players screaming to fix your **bleep**, doesn't seem to me like anyone at EA/Dice are listening to the player base. Am I wrong on this or what.............

I'm experiencing the same thing mate, you're not alone in that.

This game and been plagued with issues which the developers are working very hard to fix, but unfortunately for us, there is a fundamental vision that doesn't align with the "Original" player base and they are determined to stay the course.

These forums along with others have been yelling the same issues again and again for specific features such as persistent servers and active games showing in a server browser, larger maps so on so on.

End of the day .. the developers are "Listening" in my opinion to save face and create a false front to retain players when really they haven't even targeted or mentioned any of the features requested from previous games.

That's because they have this system in place and they don't want to deviate. But what do we know? we're just the customer after all...just not the right demographic anymore.

They want attention addicted kids who like shiny things for a price.

Well, they better start listening, if it isn't already to late. There's games that have been out for 10+ years that have a higher player count currently. l just checked Steam DB to see active players and this is pitiful for a AAA game that's been out less than a year.
