Please improve the weopon experience!!!!
Dear DICE Team,
I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with the weapon progression system in Battlefield 6 following the latest update. As a game beloved by many players, we had hoped this update would improve the overall experience, but the reality has been quite the opposite.
Prior to yesterday's update, leveling a weapon to 50 required 1,844 player kills or 3,769 AI kills. Now, after the update, it requires 1,740 player kills or a staggering 16,454 AI kills. You claimed that this update "increased the rate of experience gain," but the actual data shows a significant increase in the experience required for AI kills. How is this considered an "improvement"?
The game itself is highly enjoyable, but this blatant attempt to artificially extend gameplay time is both infuriating and disheartening. Have you genuinely considered the players' perspective? Have you reflected on why players are resorting to using Portal mode to accelerate their progress? This clearly indicates a fundamental issue with the current weapon progression system—one that you have overlooked.
If the DICE team possesses even a basic level of judgment, I urge you to immediately reevaluate the experience requirements for weapon progression. Is it reasonable for a single weapon to require such an exorbitant number of kills to reach its maximum level? What players care about is enjoyment and fairness, not being forced to invest excessive time into an unreasonable system.
Please focus on the core of the problem: players want an experience where they can enjoy the game and feel a sense of growth and progression, not one bogged down by repetitive and tedious tasks. We hope you will genuinely listen to player feedback and promptly adjust the experience gain rates to restore the fun the game rightfully deserves.
We look forward to your response and meaningful improvements.
Sincerely,
A Disappointed Battlefield 6 Player
