For the M240L, you can't hit targets at middle range with full-auto or tapping right now. You have to shoot as if you are using semi-auto. Other guns might have changed too.
It's not exactly proof, but here's a comparison between 11/5 and now.
First check your FOV settings, some people have reported that they may have been modified.
Last update turned BF into COD, recoil is almost absent in many weapons.

It's not a recent thing. I think the recoil was changed around November 4-7. That's because I've stopped using the M240L since then.
