Pro pass +5% XP isn't permanent?

I thought that the +5% XP bonus from the season 1 pro pass was permanent. It is gone now that season 2 has started.

Looking at the Season 2 Pro description on Steam, nothing here says or implies the XP bonus is temporary.

Was anyone else under the impression this was a permanent boost?
