Random recoil has to go.

Random recoil is horrible and is causing me to lose certain fights because  the gun ( my example m433) kicks to the right hard. I know I don’t have God tier aim but I’m decent. If I suck and miss I accept that. But I have issue losing a fight because of rng. It’s not enjoyable and I have nearly everyone I talk/ play with say the same thing. Don’t get me wrong. I like having unique recoil patterns that make the guns feel different, but random recoil takes a level of skill/ownership of winning and losing gun fights out of the game.

I also would really like to see tracer rounds dialed back. We are not COD OR STARWARS.   not every round needs to be seen.

ps. The new maps have been awesome. Pat on the back to that team

  • I can deal with recoil in the same horizontal direction, which some weapons have.  Your example of the M433 though has recoil in both horizontal directions.  So you'll get say, in terms of force and direction, 2 right, 4 right, 3 right, 10 left, 4 right, 6 right.  That one left **bleep** COMPLETELY throws you off target, and now you can't land anything accurately because you are mentally trying to adjust for the hard **bleep** in the other direction that may never come.

Having random recoil would be ok if we didn't also have insane bloom, or in plain words, inaccuracy.  The bloom already makes it difficult to land hits at range consistently.  Adding in jerky unpredictable recoil just makes the problem worse.  Have either one of the other, don't combine them.

Then you have the even larger problem that some weapons have low bloom AND predictable recoil.  Why do some guns have good design, and then others are just puke?  Ok, so there has to be some way to account for high damage guns, I'll give them that.  But these guns play like absolute dogwater, and we consistently see that the meta guns are not these dogwater guns.  "But the stats show they are getting high kills/play time, so they're ok."  Nah, that ignores that the people using these guns are going to the top 10% of players.  They need proper balancing.

Tracers should be totally removed from everything but LMG.  Talk about another thing that extends the range of weapons that shouldn't be long range.
