I agree with what the post states but the issue is the implementation on the mechanics.
Thermal should work the same except it shouldn't tell you who are enemies or allies. It should only highlight heat signatures and it would need to depend on players awareness to figure out who is or isn't an allie
Range finder should passively show the distance your reticle is aiming at, player should be the one to manually set the zeroing
Sweet spot shouldn't be based on range but rather it should be deliberate. In order to activate it you need to hold your breath and wait for the SR to focus (this allow other classes to be able to counter in exchange for reacon getting a 1 hit KO), only then would sweet spot activate. Getting shot, moving, and recoil after a shot would make you lose focus and null sweet spot activation until you regain focus (this would make sweet spot deliberate and not lucky) otherwise its a regular shot which only 1 hit ko if you get a head shot
I don't disagree that recon needs improvement to be relevant with current fps but you also have to balance what they are capable so that no class feels OP

Yes, one-second auto-zeroing is way too powerful (it feels like a bug); long-press manual zeroing is what’s realistic.
是的,一秒钟自动归零过于强大(感觉像Bug),长按手动归零才符合现实
