Rat problem

There has been an increasing number of rats in the game lately. People just sitting in corners just waiting for people to go by.. very annoying..

Could there perhaps be like a mini map pulse against this issue? Every two mins or so, the mini map has a puls, showing every player..

Would keep the rats a little more on edge..

    Is that for me??

You’re coming on pretty strong, kind of insulting really, and it’s usually better to check you’re replying to the right person when doing that. Maybe turn up your own aiming skills when trying to gracelessly diss people on the internet?

There's drones annoyingly flying around in every game I play, to the point that is can be incredibly distracting sometimes. I really wish friendly drones were not audible.

i have seen not 1 single recon player use a drone and actually spot an enemy . i spot when i play recon ,but have never seen anyone else do it.

Oh no, people using corners to defend the objective...the horror.

You have drones, the recon radar beacon thing, the radar grenade etc.... The spotting system in this game makes it extremely difficult to hide from anything. If someone remains unspotted in a good corner, just say gg and get them next time.

There's a special type of rat, let's call it the scurrying rat, that I both hate and respect: the one that will get 2-3 kills from a position, then relocate to a place that can see people approaching that same position.

Being had twice by the same person just waiting can be infuriating, but kudos for reading the game flow and knowing the map.

  • The good old corner campers, they’ve been around as long as fps games exists. Frustrating to get killed by them but they typically don’t add much to the outcome of a game.

AsAnobix andAlphiB said if it is to defend an objective it’s a viable strategy. Also reloading, healing or replenishing ammo or providing a spawn point for squad mates are valid excuses for hiding.

The category of players that need corner camping to get cheap kills typically lack gaming sense and are easy targets for revenge and a follow up teabag as they won’t move from their spot.

Hehe.. yes, i fire one shot so they know im there, then they turn around and we fight.. kidding of course. I hear you... Sometimes, i have to hide to. Either to heal up, reload or just waiting for my teammates. Or if i know someone s coming around a corner i find a good spot.. this is normal. But serious camping, absolute ratty play should be nerfet, like many other things have been nerfed. Unfair for heli pilots that the heli thing is nerfed. Unfair for the recon drone to be nerfed. Unfair for the motion beacon not being able to be picked up like the assault ladder.. i say the rats need a little nerf to.

Uav helps though.. but since there are uav's in the game, a tiny collective puls added should be fine.

I'm with Anobix on this one: what you call a "rat" (and I have used that term when angry after getting killed) is usually someone defending. And I actually wished more people defended.

And it can feel frustrating and cheap, but no one owes you a duel in the open street at sunrise. It's no different then being killed from the side, from the back, from the air... When you see an enemy with their back turned, do you wait for them to turn around or do you just go for the shot? Unfair advantages are meant to be created and exploited.

I don't do it, but I don't have an issue with it. You learn to check your corners, or you go back and get them the next time if they are still camping there. Obviously, it depends on the match type, but if they are at/near an objective and camping a section, I see 0 issue with it as defending is part of the game. If they aren't near an objective and they keep sticking in one place take an alternate route?
