Battlefield 6’s Chat Is Becoming Toxic, and EA Needs to Step In

I am honestly disgusted by the state of the in-game chat in Battlefield 6.

What should be a place for teamwork, coordination, and some light banter has turned into a nonstop stream of personal attacks, insults, harassment, and outright abusive language. Every match seems to have players targeting each other with childish name-calling, hateful comments, and toxic behavior that adds nothing to the game except making it miserable for everyone else.

This is not “just how online games are.” It is a clear sign that moderation and enforcement are not being taken seriously enough. When a game’s chat becomes a free-for-all for abuse, it drives normal players away, ruins the experience for squads trying to play seriously, and makes the community look worse by the day.

What is even more frustrating is the complete lack of action from EA and the forum side of things. Players are repeatedly raising the issue, yet it feels like nobody is listening. If EA wants Battlefield 6 to have a healthy long-term community, then ignoring toxic chat is not an option. Stronger moderation, better reporting tools, faster punishments, and real communication with the community are long overdue.

At this point, the silence is almost as bad as the abuse itself. EA needs to stop looking the other way and actually deal with the problem before the game’s social environment becomes even more broken than it already is.
