REDSEC Sudden SBMM
REDSEC Is it just me or what, but today the lobbies are super sweaty..I’m sure, I’m not the only one feeling / experiencing this?..isn’t there supposed to be no SBMM?

There's no SBMM, there has been a massive influx of significantly (and suspiciously) "better" players in both REDSEC and Conquest(and other standard modes) since the Redsec update. It's widely suspected that a way around Javelin has been discovered. Turning off cross-play helps a great deal but still. Don't get me wrong, the top 1% of players can make some of the shots we're seeing, but we're not encountering the top 500 player sin the world every single match.
I suddenly saw a bunch of conquest games yesterday that were incredibly sweaty. So much bunny hopping and sliding, and I couldn't even get a shot off at an enemy player because I just die on sight. My ping was fine, I even turned off crossplay to see if it would help, but I was getting massacred last night. Felt like a higher power had it out for me lol

Certainly feels like that some days. I wouldn't be surprised if turning off crossplay only helps for so long though...because TMK you can play on PC through Gamepass and you appear as a Xbox player (100% please correct me if I'm wrong).
I also wouldn't be surprised if Cronus has developed ways around the detection software either.
