Refund possibility

Given that the game failed massively to deliver content, create fun modes, or serve as the "revival" of Battlefield, is there any way to get a refund after four seasons? Because honestly, I got **bleep** by 2042, but this is beyond my limit.

I don't care for the new modes, but everything else has been pretty good. The new map is actually quite good (although badly ruined in Escalation by tanks camping in HQ, but that's on the players, not the devs). The new rifle is pretty niche but really good in that niche.

And more generally, the game is more fun that it's been since release: the gunplay feels good, the land vehicles are well balanced. It's a bit more iffy for air vehicles, but still overall the game is in a better place.

Don't get me wrong, there's plenty, and I mean plenty to complain. But saying the game failed to deliver content or fun is simply not true. Let's remember for all the incredible toxicity of this forum, the game is doing fairly well. It may not be for you, and that's fair, but you should have realized that way earlier, a refund at this stage is really unlikely.

I'm enjoying it myself. I've unlocked everything but the Rendezook tag from the the Top Gun event, the new maps are OK, and I'm closing in on the final tiers of the Battlepass. There have been some niggles, like the map selection in Casual Breakthrough, and Carrier Assault was a bit of a let down for me (the jet mode is fun though), plus some netcode weirdness, but nothing major for me so far.

I think it's subjective, though, so while I'm enjoying it, I understand that not everyone will be.

What do you think you all about the recent update ?

  • You could ask the retailer who you bought it from originally, but I'd imagine it's unlikely if you've played it for four seasons.

Unless you have purchased BF6 through steam. and even then, it'd be a toss up if steam allowed it after the first guy. It's a likely no.

Of course not. No one is going to refund anything based on your subjective feelings.
