Refund Request — Severe Issues with the Game

Hi, I’ve just requested a refund. The game has numerous critical issues that made the experience unsatisfactory.

Reasons that led me to request a refund:

  1. Vehicle Sensitivity
    - There are multiple places to change vehicle sensitivity, but adjusting it in one location automatically changes it in another. This causes inconsistency and makes it impossible to configure vehicle control reliably.

  2. Custom Matchmaking
    - Custom matchmaking puts me into maps I didn’t select.

  3. Missing or Unbalanced Vehicles on Maps
    - Some maps that are supposed to feature certain vehicles either don’t spawn them at all or spawn them only for one team. For example, on the Manhattan Bridge map, the helicopter only appears for one side — the same issue happens on the Operation Firestorm map.

  4. Teams Stuck at 0 Points
    - In some matches, a team starts and remains at 0 points throughout the entire round, completely breaking competitiveness and fun.

  5. Forced Base Spawn
    - Forcing everyone to spawn only at the base is a bad mechanic. This often results in players destroying vehicles at the start of matches, ruining initial positioning. Ideally, players should be allowed to choose when/where to spawn (or wait for a flag capture) to position themselves strategically.

  6. Vehicle Spawn Blocking by Players
    - A player can block the spawn of any vehicle simply by standing on its spawn point, preventing it from appearing. This was abused by a teammate trolling us by blocking the helicopter spawn, leaving our team without one.

  7. Missile Launching from Spawn Zone
    - Players can launch missiles from within their own protected base. This is broken since the base’s protection intercepts enemy missiles before they can reach anyone inside.

  8. Ineffective Air Radar
    - The air radar barely works — you fly jets and helicopters almost “blind.” You only notice another aircraft when it’s already about to hit you. Additionally, the maximum minimap range is just 300 meters — it should be at least 500m since jets cover large distances quickly.

  9. TOW Missile
    - The TOW missile in this game is way too easy to use. In older Battlefield titles, there was a real learning curve, and hitting a target felt satisfying precisely because it was difficult.
In BF6, it’s become something that even new players can use to easily take down a helicopter or jet. The ground TOW and the IFV TOW should both be reworked.

  10. Jet Handling — Terrible Experience
    - The jet handling is one of the worst I’ve ever seen in a Battlefield game. Even with sensitivity set to maximum, the jet barely rolls sideways: it moves well up and down but almost not at all laterally, making gameplay stiff and frustrating.
    - The rear-view camera was removed. If you use the free camera while turning, the jet stops responding properly and flies straight — there’s no rear-view option, making precise maneuvers impossible.
    - The inefficient minimap combined with poor maneuverability makes even simple encounters — like when another jet passes in front of you — confusing and disorienting. Doing loops feels bad: the game’s loop arc is too wide and easy to lose track of.
    - There’s no option to remap the “Cobra Maneuver” button. When flying low using afterburner, pressing it accidentally makes the jet crash. Players are using this maneuver as a glitch to compensate for poor jet turning — it shouldn’t exist in this state.
    - Jet gameplay was excellent during the final phase of BF 2042 — replicating that polished experience would have been enough.
    - When we complained about poor handling, it feels like the devs just increased some percentage values (from 100% to 200%) as a “band-aid” fix — it didn’t solve the core issue.

Other aspects that bothered me (though not enough on their own to justify a refund):
- Maps are too small or excessively dark. Lighting should be improved; atmosphere shouldn’t hinder visibility.
- Graphics look “washed out,” with textures that seem last-gen even on ultra settings. The water looks like something from an old title — it’s 2025, and visual quality should be better.
- The menu design is unintuitive — it looks like a newspaper layout and is easy to get lost in. I suggest adding a quick search by keyword (for example, typing “sensitivity” and seeing all related options). I spent over an hour tweaking settings because they’re scattered across a maze of menus.

Final Thoughts:
- In my country, the base version of the game is expensive. In its current state, it’s not worth the price. If the issues are fixed, I’ll gladly buy it again; right now, I’m not interested in continuing to play it as is.
- I hope these observations are taken as constructive criticism — I took the time to describe these issues in the hope that they help improve the game.

Thank you for your attention.

    11. Headshot Hitbox is Misaligned and Inconsistent:

    • the headshot hitbox did not accurately represent the head, sometimes being too high or inconsistently placed. Specially when you hit the enemy head, but on his nose or above it, the game registers it as a bodyshot.

    12. Remove "imminent victory" from the game:

    • When the team has all the flags, regardless of the number of tickets, it will win within 1 minute, not leaving a chance to the enemy team for trying harder to reverse the situtation. It basically removes the chance of "comeback matches".

    13. PSR sniper rifle is a downgrade compared to the M2010 ESR:

The PSR sniper rifle is the last sniper rifle to unlock, given its difficulty in unlocking it (150 kills from 200 meters or above), but it has less bullet velocity (937 m/s) and it has no modifiers to increase its bullet velocity. When you compare it with the M2010 ESR, the M2010 can have 1125 m/s bullet velocity, when you combo it with the ragefinder, you can defeat any enemy from any distance and faster than the PSR, making the default sniper rifle the best sniper in the game, and the hardest sniper rifle to unlock (PSR) a useless sniper rifle. BUFF PSR.
