Regular Subscription Fee to Play Battlefield 6

Hi Everyone,

I was thinking that it might be a good idea for various videogame companies, Battlefield 6 included, to charge a regular; for example, yearly or bi-yearly, fee to play a videogame. I think that the value of the dollar, for example, is low and with continuous inflation, I feel like videogames should cost more than they currently do. Additionally, I think that gamers should pay for the continued support of and content for a videogame. As gamers and as customers, how can we expect to continue to play a videogame, if the company and employees taking care of it and creating new content for it are not being paid properly?

I know that paid DLC is one way to continue to support a game, but I still think that there should be some kind of service or upkeep fee outside of new paid DLC.

Also, I think that having this kind of regular fee puts less pressure on a company to constantly create a new video game (for revenue) and potentially cut corners when making it or cut corners in the continuous support for older video game releases. I think Battlefield 6 could have good longevity if there was a regular fee system in place to support the DICE and EA teams responsible for upkeep and new content.

Anyway, what do you guys think? I think it might be a good idea.
