EA needs to patch those servers and make it so you don’t receive Weapon XP and challenges. I understand everyone plays the game how they want, but playing in a lobby filled with bots and going 144-0 seems wrong. Not to mention people have their weapons maxed out and all challenges complete. Meanwhile I’m grinding out just to get a grip for my gun.
That’s how you choose to play I would rather play bots with my friends and not be locked out of progression because I don’t want to work a 12 hour day and come home and get sweated out by no life’s. If anything reduce the do a little not a lot to make it pointless to play but to try to balance the do gain between portal and multiplayer

Leave it the way it is...it's a friggen game and PvE players deserve to play it at full XP.
They made the mistake in 2042 of cutting us short of XP while playing in Portal (after release) and they lost a ton of PvE players and charge backs.
They messed up again by not making 2 separate profiles (1 for PvE and 1 for PvP). They'll never learn...but PvE players shouldnt have to pay the price again for their mistakes.

I agree. Needs to be a separate mode. I bought 4 copies for my family. Now game lobbies are just full of super try hards that's seem to live on the game. Everyone that's complaining about the bots lobbies needing to be gone? You realize you don't have to even have play the bot lobbies.(Training grounds or not). Seeing so many posts asking to remove it completely. It should be a choice for those who just don't have the time to obtain all those pro gaming skills.

True. Plenty of people that's just wanna sit back and enjoy casual PvPvE. I love the Bot lobbies. Don't care bout the exp. Love it's random shifts in intensity.
You should have said remove XP and weapon progression for bot Portals as BF is a PvP game. Also Portal isn't all about bot farm. Plenty more gaming clans want to play on Portal without bots, challenging themselves playing against skilled players and earning full XP while doing it. Currently we are being forced to turn on bot backfill because of the ridiculous 32 player in lobby threshold before the round will start.
I just want to run a Portal Coquest 32 vs 32 where my gaming clan and regulars can hang out earning full XPwithout bots and will be able to hopefully if they remove that stupid 32 players needed in lobby threshold.
Steams offering full refunds, i play 3/4 hours a week if lucky.. kids. work. life.. so bots with mates is easy. stress free and enjoyable.
im level 20 with still no unlocks. so my account will never be fully unlocked.
Hence the refund. shame what a waste.

For those wanting to play against bots then play the campaign, that's why it exists.

I agree. They should keep it. PvE is still some people's choice. I uninstalled the game last night. Tucking it away, till they bring back PvE. Wish I could get a refund. Literally trick ya it feels with that Initiation. Full time job.. missed my window. Anyway. Yeah. Arguing bout bot lobbies? No different then loading into every multiplayer match with Streamers racking 50-0. Then you can't even properly use the portal 90% of the time. Gonna go back to 2042 for a bit lol

I have been playing since the beginning all the way back when I had dial up connection to play BF 2. Played some 1942 but been hooked since BF 2. The one thing more than any as to why I get frustrated and quit playing is hacks and cheating. Over the years I have gravitated to tanking to avoid cheats. Aimbots, esp-ers do not affect me in a tank. I made 8th on leaderboards in BF 4,in a tank, and I played basically all the time I was not working.
I do not like cheating for XP or cheating anything in general. However, I do and would rather play with bots for that very reason. I do not want more than normal exp or more of anything, I just do not want to feel cheated when I play. I do not have to worry about bots using hacks and so I do not feel cheated.
Not everybody can have perfect aim all the time. Everybody cannot always be facing the exact right direction every time. I understand everybody is not cheating, but way too many people are. I can prove what I am saying. I will tell anyone willing to read this the best time to play any of the BF Games. I have seen it over many years. The best time is 2 days to a week after a big patch. It takes a few days for the hack sites to update their code. What you will notice is all of a sudden, your KDR, if you are any good at all, will go up huge, you will find you are not being head shot regular, and people will not always be looking in the exact direction where you are hiding or waiting. I have not proven this in BF 6 as we are very new. With AI the hacks may have their sites working before the patch is launched these days.
So, with all this, I like playing with mostly bots, so I feel like I am not being cheated. I do not want more exp or unlocks any faster or slower than anyone else.
Many of us older players bought this game for the portal play, not the campaign. My friends and I prefer playing privately rather than in public matches. We can play at our own pace, try different things, and use a variety of weapons without being farmed by veteran players. We don't care about K/D or other ego-stroking stats, and even if we unlock all guns and accessories, we still can't compete with young, skilled players using no upgrades.
Have you tried getting it refunded? Surely a blatant bait and switch should be considered. If they use a selling point to market the game and remove it after you've handed over the money I think that would be grounds for a refund.
You say 144-0 seems wrong yet the amount of times in BF games when I've seen someone at the top of the scoreboard with 70+ kills with hardly any deaths while flying around in a heli or fighter jet for the whole match that's impossible to shoot down due to the inevitable nerfs to anti air weapons that patches ultimately bring with them, but I'm guessing you'd be ok with that?
Why don't you play the game how you want without trying to dictate how others might want to play it. Funny how you don't mention how much free time you have to play bf6, probably a lot more than those who have been playing against bots due to their lack of free time and as for a betrayal, what rubbish is that, it's nobody else's fault than your own that you didn't bother starting up a game against bots to to get that unlock faster
Very clear you have no life and no problem with battlefield 6 being your family and full time job. While it may feel wrong to see someone do the 144-0 remember some of us have very full lives, jobs and families. You are the exact no life loser sweat living in your relatives basement, that the People playing bot lobbies including me, are trying to avoid. I get it, you took time and sweat to get to your skill level, but everyone should not have to go up against the unemployed masses who’s only obligation is their internet connection. All I’m saying is there’s more in life to worry about than how other people enjoy a game. Please have a shower and touch grass.
Steam had declined 3 refund requests so far currently in an appeal waiting on another response from them after telling them about all of this
Screw that, we have just as much right as you to progress. The solution is increase bot difficulty, reduce XP by 3/4 what it is in portal. Do both of those and problem solved.
Player base has already dropped by half. I am sure next week after the weekend and people realize it fully it will drop down even more. 2 months in and they will have less than 50k players.
